2019 IFPA Ohio women’s state championships

—logo, stickers, MEDAls—

This was the first time in the history the IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) held a Women’s State Tournament—the first of many to come.

A common sports-like presentation was created for this yearly event to showcase the event with clean lines and a badge feel.

‘Plas food & DRINK

—brand identity—

‘Plas is a new restaurant opening in the Short North of downtown Columbus, Ohio. They were looking for a logo to help communicate their modern and rustic cuisine. They also wanted to integrate aspects of their modern interior design (contemporary lighting, leather/wood, greenery). “Make upscale approachable”. You’ve got it.

crazy martin’s

—brand identity—

Crazy Martin’s is a local smoke shop in little Piqua, Ohio. Being a business in a small town and wanting to stand out, Crazy Martin’s co-owner Brooke allowed me to take a stab at a quick design for them that would be professional and yet readable at a small size. Piqua is an old town so I chose slightly rounded typefaces that played well together but gave it a retro style to vibe with the area.

Pompadours mentor

—brand identity, brand strategy, social media marketing, paid social ads, business cards, apparel, interior design, web design, SEO, GOOGLE ANALYTICS—

Cindy, owner of Pompadours Mentor, needed a new brand identity for the men & boys salon she was about to open in Mentor, Ohio. Cindy had been a stylist for 5 years and was ready to embark on her own adventure. I was able to do something I had always dreamed of doing: a start-to-finish, full-on branding project.

Most male salons are hyper-masculine and over-the-top with sports and ‘dude bro’ attitudes. Knowing her clientele well, Cindy and I approached this to be masculine yet also comfortable, relaxing and approachable.

I designed a website via Squarespace, used standard SEO tactics and we’re now ranked #1 in Google searches. We also ran several early on Social Media Campaigns, which you can see more of here.

With nearly 90 5-star Google Reviews, I’d say she’s doing okay.
